Fraud Alert

We’ve had a few of our customers report that they’ve responded to online ads to write and print checks on behalf of a supposed business. THIS IS A FRAUD! No legitimate company would outsource their check writing to an unknown 3rd party that responded to an online ad. Would you give your checkbook to a stranger and ask them to pay your bills for you for a small fee? It is simply a con to get you to do their dirty work. What you’ll really be doing is writing checks that they will cash under assumed identities. And since your only contact with them will be an email address and maybe a phone, once the axe falls they will simply disappear. And you will be the one left holding the bag and charged with writing fraudulent checks.
